About Us
My Story
My personal story is that I was coordinating the care of my Father who lived in Miami, from Texas for three years. I saw the needs that were unique to him and how difficult it was to find experienced and caring providers to meet his needs. It impressed upon me how critical it was to find a provider that had a holistic approach to care and as well as how challenging it was to find one.
My Dad needed a local advocate, even though I was serving as his long-distance advocate. He needed someone who saw all his medical needs and could help him understand the care he was receiving, the appointments he needed to get to, plan and prep his meals, do wound care and medication reminders. I had to have several people to perform each of these tasks, but they could not help him feel cared for nor maintain his dignity and independence.
This motivated me to start a company that provided all these services to one client, while being compassionate and maintaining their sense of self-respect, dignity, and independence.
